5 Steps To Create Something NEW

As I begin to read the book of Genesis in the Bible I begin to think about how God created something so great in 6 days! He created the earth in 6 whole days. That is pretty amazing to me. Then I thought, the Bible was given to us for instructions and guidance, so why don’t I use the same strategies that God used to create or start something new. In the 2 chapter of the Bible, I was able to write out 5 steps to help me create something new. In Genesis 1:2 it reads:

1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness [a]was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

From this verse, I was able to clearly visualize the earth from the descriptive text so step one was instructional.

Step 1: Do your research and write out your vision. I also found reference to step 1 in Habakkuk 2:2-3 and it reads

2 Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end, it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

Step 2: Prayer & Fasting. I found this by reading the later end of Genesis 1:2

And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

All things spiritual are definitely followed by prayer and fasting. This helps you find direction and stability on your journey in this new venture your starting.

Step 3: See it, Believe it and Work it

Genesis 1:3 reads:

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.

So now that you have written out your plans, prayed and fasted about them its time to gather up that confidence with big faith and authority. Own your dreams it’s yours! No one else can do your dreams better than you can.  The bible says in Romans 4:16-17

16 Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be [d]sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all 17 (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

Wow, Ladies! Let’s go get! We can make things happen that don’t even exist. I can’t make this stuff up. You just read it!

Step 4: Name your venture! In Genesis 1:5 it reads:

5 God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. [a]So the evening and the morning were the first day.

It’s just as easy as the scripture reads. God gave what he created a name. Let your name stand out! Be creative and think outside of the box. Make it short and sweet ladies.

Step 5: Repeat the necessary steps until completion. Rest.

If you continue reading the first two chapters of Genesis you will begin to see a pattern and the approach God took every day until he completed the earth. Take these steps and apply them to whatever you start new. It will give you the boost you need to complete it. God not only gave us tools for life, but he also demonstrated how the tools work through his word. We are here today because of his creation. You can’t tell me these steps won’t work.  I pray this will help someone on their journey. Be inspired and empowered through Her Artistry.
